Brewer: Beam

Placing: No Show

Hi Gimli,
Here's my submission to the DM Brewing Contest:

Beam's Brew (an old family recipie)
This recipe makes a nice full flavered amber Ale

       Ingredients for 1 Keg:

              4 Barley
              3 hops
              1 yeast
              lots of fresh spring water

       Step by Step:

Steep the 4 Barleys in 3 gallons of fresh spring water in a large kettle
at medium high for 30 minutes. Remove grains, Add 1 Cluster of hops,
bring to boil for 30 minutes. Add another Cluster of hops, boil 30
minutes. Turn off heat, add last  Cluster of hops, steep 30 minutes and
remove, this is called the "wort". Put the wort into your primary
fermenter (keg) along with enough chilled, pre-boiled water to make 1
keg. When cooled to room temperature add the yeast. Ferment at room
temperature for ten days, rack to secondary cooler for a fortnight. Age
two to three weeks, then its ready to drink.
