Beer Brewing Contest

We want your beer!

For too long have the citizens of Puddleby suffered with the leftover bilge water that the Empire sees fit to send us. Now that we have a brewery, let us make some beer that is truly worthy of Dwarven consumption.

In order to encourage all would be brewers and to fill our stomachs with beer, the Dwarven Militia is proud to host this contest.

The prizes are:

First Prize: 1000 coins
Second Prize: 600 coins
Third Prize: 400 coins
Honorable Mentions: 100 coins (two will be awarded)

What is this contest?

The basic idea is to answer the question, how would you want to make beer in Clan Lord if you could?

More specifically:
What ingredients would you use? (wheat, hops)
What items would you use? (A copper brewing kettle, a wooden keg)
What method would you use to brew? (add water, stir, pray to Gaia and wait 6 hours)

Entering the contest

If you'd like to submit your recipe, we need:

Your exile's name
Your email address
Your recipe

All entries should be sent to Gimli at kthompson20@beer.austin.rr.com
Please include the words "brewing contest" in the subject of your mail message.

Contest deadline

Submissions should be received by 23:59h, Wed 15 Nov 2000. We're usually too drunk to notice -- or worry -- about time zone differences; a little bit on that side of Thursday will be okay.

Other terms that you should probably know about:

You may enter as often as you like.
Anyone who submits a recipe for lite beer will be stuffed into an empty beer keg and thrown off the dock.
All submitters give permission to DM to use them on these pages for the purposes of judging.
All entries may become the property of Delta Tao. No out-of-game compensation is implied.
We have no idea if Delta Tao will actually use any of this. We have no affiliation, authority, influence, etc. with Delta Tao or any other mythical organization.
